    Hi,

I’m new with the registry and have a ’51 Healey that spent its existence in the TX panhandle I’m told. It had the front sheet metal modified a bit probably in the late ’50’s with a large grille opening reminiscent of a Briggs Cunningham of the era. Also, eye brows were put over the headlights, the hood and air vent scoops were ‘lowered’ as well as the pan between the bumper and front clip eliminated. Apparently it spent many years on dirt tracks chasing around with a chrysler hemi under the hood. Does anyone know anything about this Healey or have old pictures of it?

I need to get some decent pictures of the Healey, but here’s a few shots of it while it was being worked on.

That’s a nice looking Healey Jim. I like the modifications to the front grill, I think it improves the appearance!
